Successful ONS for MHWirth
Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) is a biannual conference and exhibition for the offshore industry that takes place in Stavanger, Norway. This year’s conference was the second largest ever. It attracted 65 718 visitors and 1 241 exhibitors from 40 countries, and as usual, MHWirth was present with a booth.
“We have had many insightful discussions with key personnel from oil companies and drilling contractors,” says head of sales North Sea, Jarle Vaag. “A significant amount of visitors came to our booth to learn about our drilling equipment and technologies both aimed at the North Sea and other markets.”
CEO of MHWirth, Finn Amund Norbye, was also very pleased with the outcome of ONS. “I have met with customers at the booth and during evening events which I found very useful” he said. “I was also impressed by the morning session where we together with Statoil and Sekal presented “Drilltronics” for oil companies and other interested parties. Our team from Software and Drilling Systems did a great presentation for an audience that showed keen interest.”
Each day MHWirth had a demonstration together with Halliburton and Petro Well Services of our modular Plug and Abandon unit. The unit has attracked considerable interest.
“MHWirth is still a major player in the market, and being present at ONS has once again proven to be highly valuable with regards to meeting relevant decision makers within the oil and gas business,” said Jarle Vaag. “This year’s event exceeded our expectations.”
