MHWirth is gearing up for some new and dynamic projects driven by innovative technology, and Drilling Lifecycle Services (DLS) Global Support needs to strengthen our team equipped with specialized, experienced and enthusiastic engineers. MHWirth is advancing its commitment to digitalization, electric drivers and automation and higher level of quality handling of new products

We seek a skilled and experienced Engineer with knowledge within Network, PLC and HMI. This person will participate in a team of competent colleagues with responsibilities for product support towards our customers.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Support all regions to increase sale by defining upgrade potentials and support marketing of relevant bulletins and upgrades.
  • Transfer of experience within his/her products between rigs in operation and applicable engineering groups.
  • Adhere to MHWirth’s vision, values, strategies, policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate this in his/her daily work.
  • Available for travelling on-/offshore, DLS organization and 911 support when needed.
  • Initiate generate and check content for bulletins related to own products.

Qualifications & personal attributes:

  • Technical education BSc/MSc (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
  • Multi-discipline and operational knowledge for his/her products
  • Solution oriented and ability to take initiative and manage work in an efficient manner
  • Knowledge to PLC and HMI.
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching, Cisco ASA and Checkpoint Firewall, Network design is an advantage
  • Highly developed customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • High focus on quality, cost and timely delivery
  • Flexible and motivated by working with continuous improvements
  • Team oriented and independent with good communication and cooperation skills
  • Good communication skills in English both orally and in writing
